1. Why did you test ScormStack?
I discovered ScormStack at the Learning Technologies trade show in January 2026. Until then, I had been using the same authoring solution for my online courses (outside gamification/serious games), but I regularly ran into significant limitations: restricted customization, a UX that could be improved, high pricing, paid translations, and more.
Several people spontaneously mentioned ScormStack to me within the first few minutes of the show, which pushed me to visit the stand. The demo immediately convinced me to suggest a trial to the Conservatoire's instructional design team.
2. What main benefit did you find?
The team's feedback very quickly became unanimous. The tool is easy to pick up, close to the sector's usual workflows, but with far more possibilities: advanced content customization, better-designed blocks, unlimited and efficient code integration for specific activities, reviewer comments that are more precise and easier to implement, and a much stronger UX.
Two features were particularly decisive for our internal processes: translation included in 80 languages, and the ability to export modules in "pieces" without duplication. On top of that, the pricing is very competitive. Finally, ScormStack's technical team has been highly responsive and was able to make many custom adjustments at our request.
3. Would you recommend it to others, and why?
I recommend ScormStack without hesitation. The tool has saved us a considerable amount of time at every stage of design: development, reuse of existing content, corrections with partners, exports, and more.
Improvements are continuous: we are currently testing the API with an internal Markdown-based tool to automate certain digitalization phases, and a dynamic export option has just been proposed.
It is a tool that is truly adapted to today's digital learning practices: more powerful than the alternatives we knew, highly customizable, with many integration options and a technical service that always finds a solution. All this without sacrificing accessibility — quite the opposite.

1. Pourquoi avez-vous testé ScormStack ?
J'ai découvert ScormStack au salon Learning Technologies en janvier 2026. J'utilisais jusqu'alors la même solution auteur pour mes formations en ligne (hors gamification/serious game), avec laquelle je me heurtais régulièrement à des limites importantes : personnalisation restreinte, UX perfectible, tarif élevé, traductions payantes... Plusieurs personnes m'ont spontanément cité ScormStack dans les premières minutes du salon, ce qui m'a poussé à aller voir le stand. La démo m'a immédiatement convaincu de proposer un essai à l'équipe d'ingénieurs pédagogiques du Conservatoire.
2. Quel bénéfice principal y avez-vous trouvé ?
Les retours de l'équipe ont très vite été unanimes. La prise en main est rapide, proche des usages du secteur, mais avec bien plus de possibilités : personnalisation poussée des contenus, blocs mieux pensés, intégration de code illimitée et efficace pour les activités spécifiques, commentaires des relecteurs plus précis et faciles à implémenter, UX nettement supérieure.
Deux fonctionnalités ont été particulièrement déterminantes pour nos process internes : la traduction incluse en 80 langues et l'export des modules par "morceaux" sans duplication. À cela s'ajoute un tarif très compétitif. Enfin, l'équipe technique de ScormStack s'est montrée très réactive et a su réaliser de nombreux ajustements personnalisés à notre demande.
3. Le recommanderiez-vous à d’autres, et pour quelles raisons ?
Je recommande ScormStack sans hésitation. L'outil nous a fait gagner un temps considérable à tous les stades de la conception : développement, réutilisation de l'existant, corrections avec les partenaires, exports...
Les améliorations sont continues : nous testons actuellement l'API avec un outil interne en Markdown pour automatiser certaines phases de digitalisation, et une option d'export dynamique vient d'être proposée.
C'est un outil résolument adapté aux usages actuels du digital learning : plus puissant que les alternatives que nous connaissions, hautement personnalisable, avec de nombreuses options d'intégration et un service technique qui trouve toujours une solution. Le tout sans sacrifier l'accessibilité — bien au contraire.
